AAA Basic Membership
Terms & Conditions
Monthly Subscription
Your AAA Basic membership provides you with access to membership benefits. This Basic membership has a monthly term and membership fees must be paid at the beginning of each monthly term. This Basic membership will continue on a month-to-month basis at the monthly rate stated on your receipt unless it is cancelled in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and the Basic Membership Handbook. Your Basic monthly membership fee is in exchange for the Basic membership benefits whether you use them or not.
Your Acceptance
By selecting your Basic monthly subscription product and providing a payment card, you accept and agree to these Basic Membership Terms and Conditions.
Billing
Your initial Basic membership fee will be charged to the payment card you provide us on the date you join. The expiration date for the first monthly term, either on the 1st or the 15th of the month, is provided in your initial membership confirmation receipt. After that, we will charge your membership fee for the following monthly term, either on the 1st or 15th of the month, depending on which expiration date was used for your first monthly term.
Automatic Renewal
Subscription to a Basic membership requires enrollment into convenience billing which automatically renews your Basic membership and charges the payment card you provided when you joined. Renewal of the Basic membership on a month-to-month basis will continue unless it is cancelled.
Payment Authorization
By selecting your Basic membership and providing us with your payment card information, you authorize us to charge your payment card each month for the amount stated on your membership confirmation receipt. No prior notification of the monthly charge will be provided unless the amount changes.
Grace Period
There is no grace period. If our attempt to collect the monthly membership fee under the terms of this agreement is unsuccessful, your Basic membership will be cancelled by us.
Cancellation
You may cancel your monthly Basic membership and stop the billing of the monthly membership fee at any time by notifying us at 800.222.1134 or in writing at AAA - Membership Processing, PO Box 31087, Tampa, FL 33631. If you cancel, your Basic membership will expire without renewal at the end of the current monthly term, but no dues will be refunded. All policies are subject to change without notice. Your monthly subscription Basic membership may also be cancelled for non-payment due to a non-functioning payment card. Basic members cancelled for non-payment will not be allowed to rejoin AAA through a subscription membership. Reinstatement of Monthly Membership
If your monthly subscription Basic membership is cancelled for any reason, reinstatement of your Basic membership will not be available.
AAA Basic Membership Card and Handbook
As a Basic member, you will be provided with a digital AAA membership card instead of a physical membership card. You may obtain your AAA membership card by downloading the AAA Mobile® app at AAA.com/Mobile. Your AAA Basic membership handbook is available to you in your AAA Mobile® app as well as the website at AAA.com/MemberHandbook.
